CD 722F Frequency Input Module The frequency input module CD 722F has the following features: Two independent counting functions with up to 12 configurable modes (including incremental position encoder and frequency input up to 300 kHz). Two independent PWM (pulse-width modulator) or pulse outputs with push-pull driver. Dedicated inputs/outputs for specific counting functions (e.g. touch, set, reset). All unused inputs/outputs can be used with the specifications of standard inputs/outputs range. The inputs and outputs are electrically isolated from the other electronic circuitry of the module. There is no potential separation between the channels. This I/O module can be used as PROFIBUS remote I/O.
